According to GSE Dispensing, the demand for automated dispensing systems has been fuelled by the need to meet the global brand owners' higher quality consistency and service expectations.

The Colorsat Match dispenser, for label printing applications, enables clean, fast and waste-free recipe preparation in batches of 1kg to 5kg said GSE Dispensing.
It reduces ink usage by dispensing the exact amount needed for each job.
It calculates the volume requirements for the most challenging recipes, and dispenses to an accuracy of one gram, in less than four minutes.
Furthermore, any excess ink remaining after a print run can be re-used, located and retrieved from stock.
Press return inks, normally too complex to be calculated manually into new recipes, are thus included in future print runs.
Some customers have boosted ink yields by as much as 30 per cent, using GSE Dispensing's technology.
The company claimed that an in-house ink mixing operation leads to cost savings and a more integrated workflow.
Not only does it enable printers to meet the global brand owners' demands for total colour consistency, but removes the chance of workflow bottlenecks, as dispensing occurs almost instantaneously.
Furthermore, avoiding the need for external mixing services can cut procurement cost by as much as 25 per cent.
GSE Dispensing said that it provides a range of modular gravimetric ink and paste dispensing systems, tailored to the individual needs of the graphics and textile printer in various markets.
The company's Indian customer base benefits from local technical support, provided by International Caliber, in Vileparle, near Mumbai.
Remote diagnostics, to proactively resolve any issues with dispensing system software via internet are provided around the clock, from the GSE's headquarters.
GSE's systems are supported by a software tool, IMS.
Its time-saving features include stock control and ink consumption analysis.

Labelexpo India 2010 will be staged from 8-11 December in New Delhi.
