US: Boxboard output up 8.3% y/y to 846,500 tonnes in April 2010

　　According to a report by the American Forest & Paper Association, the total boxboard production in the US grew by 8.3% y/y and 1.1% m/m to 846,500 tonnes in April 2010. During the period, the production of solid bleached folding increased by 15.5% y/y and 7.55% m/m. The output of unbleached kraft folding in April increased by 4.3% y/y; however, it decreased by 1.7% m/m. The year-to-date production of unbleached kraft went up by 2.7% y/y. The output of recycled folding grew 4.9% y/y, but declined by 3.9% m/m.
