Chicago-based commercial print, fulfillment and distribution firm Cardinal Colorprint has acquired Genesis Press (Itasca, IL). The new company will be known as Cardinal/Genesis. Cardinal Colorprint’s Patrick LeBeau will serve as president of the combined organization.

By leveraging the strengths of our two companies, we formed a first class print and fulfillment/distribution organization with a solid balance sheet, strong management, loyal client base, and some of the most talented and dedicated employees in the business.”
“The deal makes sense because of our investment and experience in front-end technologies and our client base complements Cardinal’s core capabilities," adds Bob Moore, former president of Genesis Press, who will assume the title of senior vice president in the new organization. "The combination of expandable, customized front-end solutions and fulfillment/distribution capabilities will help our clients increase the value of their marketing dollars.”
Production will continue at both locations. Bindery, mailing, fulfillment and distribution services will be centralized at the Itasca facility.
