The new four-unit Goss M-600 system will be installed in January 2010 to meet a growing demand for high-quality magazine production.
The press will be equipped with a JF-55 folder, Goss's Ecocool dryer with integrated chill rolls and the Goss Web Centre automated workflow system.
The investment by PT Indonesia Printer exemplifies the strategy of a growing number of sheetfed printers worldwide who are installing web presses as a way to diversify, achieve higher productivity and gain competitive advantages, according to Tim Mercy, vice president of commercial press sales for Goss International in Asia.
