Flint Group Flexographic Products has cut delivery times for its rotec offset sleeves for Variable Sleeve Offset Printing (VSOP) presses by allowing print shops to order them directly.
Printers using the rotec sleeves, which have been used with VSOP presses since 2004, will now be able to order direct from the manufacturer's headquarters in Ahaus, Germany.
Flint Group said the move would reduce delivery times for the product to approximately four weeks and guarantee the "availability of rotec sleeves in the proven quality".
Several thousand rotec sleeves are manufactured each year for VSOP presses.
According to Flint Group, its rotec sleeves are characterised by very low tolerances, as well as an extremely high durability.
