GAE has announced it is to become the exclusive distributor for the UK of Japanese manufacturer Hamada's offset presses.
The range of small-footprint presses comprises 12 models in portrait and landscape SRA3 and B3 formats, from an entry-level single colour to five-colour machines with semi-automatic plate-loading, in-line coating and other more sophisticated options.
The presses are aimed at high-street, inplant and small commercial print markets and will be on show at GAE's upcoming 'End to End' open house in early September.
GAE joint managing director Tony Hards said: "The Hamada presses are a good fit for us; they sit very nicely alongside the Shinohara range and together with our Mitsubishi SDP Eco polyester plate systems, they offer a genuine high-quality on-demand print solution for what is still a very busy market sector."
GAE previously distributed Shinohara presses, but this deal has since moved to Litho Supplies, after it acquired GAE in January 2008.
